This is a contract between the customer and the Beautician. Scarlett Rose Photography/Lauren McElwee is not liable for any break in contract or the services provided by the beautician.
Retainer and Payment
Client shall reserve the time and date of services by signing and returning this contract along with a non-refundable, non-transferable reservation retainer. No date is reserved until the contract and retainer are received. The balance due to the beautician at the appointment. Beautician accepts card or cash. If paying by cash please make sure you have the correct amount. Checks are not accepted.
Cancelations
If for any reason Client cancels this contract before the scheduled date, Beautician will keep the retainer.
Reschedule/No Shows
Should you need to reschedule your session, you must contact Scarlett Rose Photography before your scheduled session otherwise you will be considered a no show and all monies paid will be kept by the beautician for her time. If you contact Scarlett Rose 48 hours before session your retainer will able to be transferred to another date one time only. Should the beautician be unable to attend Scarlett Rose Photography will attempt to fill the service with one of the other beauticians (please note there may be a difference in price for a different beautician. Scarlett Rose Photography will release the retainer to the beautician at the session. If Scarlett Rose Photography cannot find a beautician to fill the appointment you will have 2 options 1. Do your own hair and makeup in which the retainer would be returned to you. 2. You will be able to reschedule without penalty. Should the photographer need to reschedule due to weather, illness or any other reason the photographer will contact you and reschedule you to the next available date that suits both the photographer, client and beautician without penalty.
Illness/Pandemic
If any member of the family has had a fever or flu-like symptom in the 48 hours before your session, please reschedule. If the photographer or photographers' family has a fever or flu-like symptoms you will be contacted to reschedule your session. If the beautician or beauticians' family has a fever or flu-like symptoms you will be contacted to reschedule your session. If the studio is forced by the state or federal government to close due to a pandemic your session will be rescheduled to another date once the studio is able to reopen.
Liability
If you have any allergies to skin or hair products, please inform the beautician or Scarlett Rose Photography when booking. Neither the Beautician or Scarlett Rose Photography will be liable if you have any reaction to skin or hair products.
The Beautician and Scarlett Rose Photography are not liable for any injuries, illnesses or allergies that may occur during your session. Please use caution at all times.
Prices are subject to change. Once you have paid your retainer you have locked in your price. However should you need to reschedule your session and prices change between that time you may be required to pay the difference in price.
